CJ MacPhearson
CJ is a celebrated hair colourist, hair cutter, and intuitive energy worker with over 17 years experience working behind the chair. Her multidisciplinary background is clear when you look at her clients. Whether you want subtle dimensional colour or electric green vivid hair, CJ can map out the next steps to make that idea a reality.

Levi McIntyre
Levi’s first apprenticeship was a deep dive into the diversity of hair texture over 15 years ago. Now, they are a bespoke haircutting specialist with a roster of clients ranging from board straight hair to curls to the tightest texture you can dream of. A haircut with Levi is a pathway to better understand your natural texture. You’ll receive a personalized product guide as well as a silhouette tailored for your length, density, and texture.

Xen is a remedial massage therapist and bodyworker with a background in sports therapy and medical massage, member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT), she combines evidence-based treatment of musculoskeletal conditions with the restorative benefits of therapeutic bodywork. Whether you're recovering from physical strain, managing persistent aches, or seeking relief from stress, every session is tailored to your body, your goals, and how you want to feel.

19 Waterloo Street, Waterloo Chambers. Above Kitty O’Shea’s on the 2nd Floor. Access the building via our buzzer, once buzzed in, you can take the steps or chair lift to the ground floor where you can take the lift to the second floor or the stairs up to the second floor. Exit Right through Double Doors and we are the first door.

Please email us if you are wanting to communicate about access prior to your appointment. Here are some factors to consider when coming to our salon for an appointment.
Our buzzer system utilizes a digital screen with a list of business names while using analog up and down arrows and a bell to call our suite.
There are two buzzers. One is 36 inches above the ground on the outside of the gate at street level. The second one is above one step and 54 inches above the ground.
We have a foldable 4 foot long metal ramp with a gripping material on the metal path. This can be utilized for the single step in the front of the building to gain access.
Our building has a community chair lift to access the ground floor. There are 9 steps up to the ground floor with a hand railing available.
The building lift is DDA compliant, but if you would like particular measurements, I am happy to send those to you.
Our shampoo basin system is a reclining massage system sitting on a single step platform.
Our space is painted with a warm terracotta tone on walls and ceiling to minimize that scary bright light feeling. We also offer a variety of fidget toys, ear plugs, and masks. If you want your practitioner to wear a mask for your appointment, reach out to them.
If a privacy appointment serves you best, please connect with the practitioner that you want to go see and check in to see their personal availability to accommodate that request.

Each practitioner sets up their business individually, someone may ask for a deposit, while someone else may just ask for you to enter valid card information to hold your appointment.

Trains: Central Station is a 2 minute walk.
Bus: Hope Street has two local stops that will let you off a 2 minute walk from our building.
Taxi: taxi rank on Hope Street.
Cycle: Hooplr offers Lock Up Rentals around City Center, please do not bring your bike into the salon.
Car: Metered Street Parking is available on Wellington St, West Campbell St, Blythswood St, and Douglas St. as well as the Q-Park Multi-Story at 99 Waterloo Street.

In the salon, we use a mixture of K18, The Doux, Hairstory, and Innersense Organic. We always have Fragrance Free options for our clients with sensitivities or allergies.
In the massage space: Xen uses aromatherapy oil of various natural fragrances. -
Feeling nervous and want someone to join you for your haircut appointment? Bring them along.
When it comes to kids, we love kids, but we find that it is difficult for our clients to relax when they are distracted during their appointment. We ask that you schedule your appointment while the kids are taken care of so that you can relax to the fullest during your appointment. -
Rocky is our in house mascot. He’s a 4 year old chihuahua who is learning how to socialize with dogs after being adopted just in February. There are some dogs that are pre-approved and welcome to be in the space, but please don’t surprise us with your pet.

Rocky is a 4 year old >2kg chihuahua. Please feel free to pet him if he approaches you, but under no circumstance should you pick him up without consent. He loves people and will most likely smell your shoes. That is his version of saying hello. He sometimes barks to communicate, but most of the time he is napping in his bed. Wee man sleeps for about 14-16 hours per day. If you are afraid of dogs or allergic to dogs, we have another room that we can set him up in for the duration of your appointment, just let us know in advance via email.
